E19: Judges A - A Merry-Go-Round
The Bible in 30 Seconds or Less | Old Testament: History
Moses led the Exodus from Egypt. Joshua walked around Jericho and into the land promised to Abraham. Which brings us to Judges, a merry-go-round of tribal leaders and guerrilla warfare, of religious diversity, idolatry, and reform. From Ehud to Gideon to Samson to Deborah and more, these judges led the people and united the tribes, casting down idols and vanquishing enemies in a single blow. Only it never lasts. The idols resurrect and the enemies return. Peace becomes chaos becomes peace becomes chaos. This merry-go-round continues, leaving us dizzy and unsure of what's to come and who will lead us.
