Then Paul writes the following in verse 14 of the letter: "But I preferred to do nothing without your consent, in order that your good deed might be voluntary and not something forced." In a world where we are all embedded in systems of oppression, may we work to create relationships and transformative engagements that are rooted in enthusiastic consent, so that our efforts for radical social change are embedded in the politics of radical difference. This is the good news of the gospel for the emancipation for all."
